Transliteration

Lā ilāha illa-llāhu Muḥammadun rasūlu-llāh.

Translation

There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

Transliteration

Ash-hadu an lā ilāha illa-llāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, wa ash-hadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhū wa rasūluh.

Translation

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

Transliteration

Subḥāna-llāhi wa-l-ḥamdu lillāhi wa lā ilāha illa-llāhu wa-llāhu akbar, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-llāhi-l-ʿaliyyi-l-ʿaẓīm.

Translation

Glory be to Allah, all praise is for Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. There is no power nor strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.

Transliteration

Lā ilāha illa-llāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-ḥamdu yuḥyī wa yumīt, wa huwa ḥayyun lā yamūtu abadan abadā, dhu-l-jalāli wa-l-ikrām, biyadihi-l-khayr, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr.

Translation

There is no god but Allah, alone, without any partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death. He is ever-living and will never die. Owner of majesty and honour. In His hand is all good, and He has power over all things.

Transliteration

Astaghfiru-llāha rabbī min kulli dhanbin adhnabtuhū ʿamadan aw khaṭa'an sirran aw ʿalāniyah, wa atūbu ilayhi mina-dh-dhanbi-lladhī aʿlamu wa mina-dh-dhanbi-lladhī lā aʿlam. Innaka anta ʿallāmu-l-ghuyūbi wa sattāru-l-ʿuyūbi wa ghaffāru-dh-dhunūb, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-llāhi-l-ʿaliyyi-l-ʿaẓīm.

Translation

I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, for every sin I have committed knowingly or unknowingly, secretly or openly, and I repent to Him for the sins I know and the sins I do not know. Indeed, You are the Knower of all that is hidden, the Concealer of faults and the Forgiver of sins. There is no power nor strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.

Transliteration

Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min an ushrika bika shay'an wa anā aʿlamu bih, wa astaghfiruka limā lā aʿlamu bih, tubtu ʿanhu wa tabarra'tu mina-l-kufri wa-sh-shirki wa-l-kidhbi wa-l-ghībati wa-l-bidʿati wa-n-namīmati wa-l-fawāḥishi wa-l-buhtāni wa-l-maʿāṣī kullihā, wa aslamtu wa aqūlu lā ilāha illa-llāhu Muḥammadun rasūlu-llāh.

Translation

O Allah, I seek Your protection from associating anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do not know. I repent from it and free myself from disbelief, polytheism, lying, backbiting, innovation, tale-telling, indecencies, slander and all acts of disobedience. I submit and I say: there is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
